Born in Decatur and raised in Hartselle, Alabama, Tracy Smith brings a wealth of
experience and a strong sense of family values to Whitfield Family Practice. Growing up
in a God-fearing home with a supportive family, Tracy’s early interests included sports,
jogging, and music. After graduating from Falkville High School in Falkville, she began
her career with Dr. Michael L. Putman, where she worked for over 23 years alongside
the same dedicated team until his retirement.

With 23 years of marriage, Tracy and her husband have been blessed with two
daughters, a son, and a granddaughter, all of whom keep them busy with activities.
Tracy loves cheering on her daughter in sports, supporting her son in racing, and
watching her granddaughter thrive in athletics. She considers her greatest achievement
to be “raising up three great children!”

Tracy’s guiding philosophy is to treat everyone as if they were family. A dedicated
woman of faith, she is active in her church community at Journey Church Eva, where
she serves in children’s ministry. Living by strong morals and respect, Tracy is
committed to making everyone feel cared for and valued.
