Michelle was born in Decatur and raised in East Lawrence. She brings warmth, compassion, and dedication to her role as a medical assistant at Whitfield Family Practice. With a strong passion for creating a welcoming environment, Michelle works closely with providers to ensure each visit runs smoothly and every patient feels cared for.

 

Before beginning her career in healthcare, Michelle worked in the newspaper industry, where she developed strong people skills that continue to shine in her work today. She takes pride in building meaningful connections with patients, offering compassionate care, and serving as a friendly, reassuring presence throughout each visit.

 

Outside of the office, Michelle and her husband, Zac, enjoy spending time with their six children, dachshund JJ, and their eight grandchildren—with another on the way. In her free time, she loves being with family and relaxing on trips to the beach.
