Laura Hopkins, a proud Alabama native, was born and raised in Littleville. One of eight
siblings, Laura grew up in a lively household filled with love and sports, with her parents
celebrating 52 years of marriage. A multi-sport athlete in basketball, softball, and
volleyball, Laura graduated from Colbert Heights High School before starting her first
job as a waitress at Maxwell’s Steakhouse, where she developed a strong work ethic
and love for connecting with people.

Today, Laura is one of the friendly faces of Whitfield Family Practice as one our two
dedicated front desk receptionists. Laura and her husband, Heath, are the proud
parents of twin daughters. Outside of work, Laura enjoys photography, sports, reading,
and shopping. Stemming from her Christian faith, she is passionate about spreading joy
and positivity in all that she does.
